我省寻乌矿为一个火山岩风化壳离子吸附型稀土矿,这是一种新型的稀土资源。它储藏量大,是我省重要的稀土资源之一。就稀土各元素的配分情况来看,高镧低铈,富含镧钕,同时钐、铕、铽、钇的含量也较高,特别是钐铕在目前世界已知稀土矿中含量最高。该矿用P—204萃取分离的方法,将混合稀土分离成氧化镧铈富集物、氧化镨钕富集物、中稀土氧化物和重稀土氧氧物等四种成品。在氧化镧铈富集物的成品分析,不但要求分析稀土总量,更重要的是要求分析La、Ce含量。限于矿区的设备条件等原因,目前无法开展这方面的分
