即使是国际性的会展也具有区域性特点。伴随着展览业的快速发展,全国展览业呈现出混乱局面。同一区域内同类展会数量日益增多,这种状况直接导致客户分流,竞争激烈,无法形成强大的品牌优势。为了提高同一区域内会展业的整体竞争力,区域性的竞争、协调、管理、整合成为市场的必然需求: 长三角会展览盟成立后,上海以其龙头地位,带动双翼齐飞的格局基本形成:宁波、温州以制造业展会为主,杭州以休闲、会议、旅游三位一体展会为主;南京、苏州以外贸、外资类展会为主。行业协会正在策划相关的推动活动。
