由中央宣传部、中央文明办、解放军总政治部、全国总工会、共青团中央、全国妇联举办的全国道德模范座谈会暨第八届中国公民道德论坛9月20日下午在北京举行。中共中央政治局常委李长春出席并讲话。他强调,公民道德建设要深入贯彻落实科学发展观,大力推动学习实践社会主义核心价值体系,不断巩固全体人民团结奋斗共同思想基础,全面提高公民道德素质和社会文明程度,为夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利、开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面、实现中华民族伟大复兴,提供有力思想道德保障和强大精神力量。
The National Forum of Ethics Models and the Eighth China Forum on Citizenship and Ethics, organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Civilization Office, the PLA General Political Department, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the All-China Women's Federation, were held in Beijing on the afternoon of September 20. Li Changchun, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, attended and made a speech. He emphasized that the construction of civic morality should thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development, vigorously promote the study and practice of the socialist core value system, continue to consolidate the common ideological foundation for all the people in the struggle for solidarity, and comprehensively improve the moral standards of citizens and the level of social civilization. In order to seize the opportunity of building an overall well-to-do society Win new victories and create a new situation in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics so as to bring about the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and provide a strong ideological and moral guarantee and a strong spiritual force.
