在病理组织切片制片过程中,组织包埋技术是一项十分关键的工艺,不仅直接关系切片质量,且对病理诊断的准确性影响极大。组织包埋通常先将已熔化的石蜡倾入组织包埋框内,再将组织置于包埋框内的石蜡中。此种包埋法,对于较大病检组织并不困难,但对体积小、数量多的微小标本,如胃肠粘膜等活检小标本,有时就不容易包埋在同一平面上。因包埋框内石蜡不断冷却凝固,故先放入的组织位置较深,后放入的就较浅,这样制作的切片,就会出现有的组织显露不全的缺陷。近年来,为了提高制片质量,保证病理诊断的准确性,我们对微小病理组织采用了铸块烫槽石蜡包埋法。现总结如下。
