衔接是产生语篇的必要(尽管不充分)条件,也是语篇分析中的一个重要概念。Halliday首次提出了衔接的概念,其夫妇二人明确提出对语篇衔接机制进行研究并区分了五种衔接手段。从词汇衔接手段的具体实现形式入手,分别结合例子对其在语篇中的作用进行阐述和分析;文章认为掌握词汇衔接手段的相关知识对于语言习得具有启示性帮助。 Cohesion is a necessary (albeit inadequate) condition for the production of discourse and is an important concept in discourse analysis. Halliday first proposed the concept of convergence, the couple explicitly proposed to study the text cohesion mechanism and to distinguish between five cohesive means. Beginning with the concrete realization form of lexical cohesive means, this paper expounds and analyzes its role in the discourse in combination with examples respectively. The article holds that enlightenment can be obtained from the acquisition of lexical cohesion related knowledge.
