角膜在湿房中可保存24小时,在保存液中可保存约5天。最近,上海第一医学院眼耳鼻喉医院用深低温冷冻法保存角膜可达半年。这种保存法不用“冷冻控连降温仪”。而用“分阶段冷冻法”,既可降温,又可复温。经冷冻保存20～45天的角膜用千穿透角膜移植,术后大多数病例角膜转为透明,愈合良好。视力最佳者达1.0.这项研究对防盲治盲工作有积极意义。
Cornea in the wet room can be stored for 24 hours in the preservation solution can be stored for about 5 days.
