可靠性是系统无故障工作能力的度量,主要指标有可靠度、可用度、平均无故障工作时间和平均修复时间。可用度是系统在规定工作条件下,在时刻t正常工作的概率;可靠度是系统在规定时间内完成规定功能的概率。随着可修工程系统使用时间的延长,可用度趋于定值,可靠度趋于无限小,无法反映可修系统的可维修性。因此,以可用度定量分析可修工程系统的可靠性比可靠度更合适。实例分析也表明,可用度作为可修工程系统的可靠性标准更适合于工程应用。
Reliability is a measure of the system’s ability to work without failures, with key metrics of reliability, availability, MTBF, and average repair time. The availability is the probability that the system will work normally at time t under the specified working conditions. The reliability is the probability that the system will complete the specified function within the specified time. With the prolonged use of repairable engineering systems, availability tends to set value, reliability tends to infinitesimal, can not reflect the maintainability of repairable systems. Therefore, it is more appropriate than reliability to quantitatively analyze the reliability of a repairable engineering system with usability. Case studies also show that availability as a reliability standard for repairable engineering systems is more suitable for engineering applications.
