伴随着我国钢材的大量出口,船舶装运卷钢等重件货的几率大大增加。在装运这些重件货过程中,因不能科学地确定所使用垫舱木料的数量,而发货人又尽可能缩减成本减少垫舱木料,使得一些船舶双层底局部受损甚至被压塌,造成较大事故。根据材料力学的计算、垫舱木料的性质以及实际装船经验,给出了计算垫舱木料的方法,既避免了使用大量木料的浪费,也保证了船舶安全。
