In the study of human immunobiology, especially in T cell subsets, the display of cell surface markers and the role of these markers in the identification of functional traits of cell subsets have become extremely popular research areas. T cells are generally considered to have sheep erythrocyte receptors (E receptors). This surface marker can be used for the identification of total T cell populations.
