法国欧洲推进公司(SEP)从1980年起开始研制西北风(MISTRAL)超近距地对空导弹的推进系统。该推进系统由两级固体火箭发动机组成:其发射发动机为金属壳体的固体火箭发动机,它将导弹加速推出发射筒,并在1.7米长的发射筒内燃烧完毕。其飞行发动机将导弹推向目标。为了满足接口尺寸、重量、总冲量等技术要求,欧洲推进公司为飞行发动机选用了复合材料壳体。这种壳体采用第二代缠绕技术,不用型芯,直接将凯夫拉纤维和环氧树脂缠绕在装了药的硬质绝热层管子上。为了防止对射手的伤害,还研制了两种机械式的火工装置:一种为火工品分离装置,以防飞行发动机点火时,其尾喷流吹在发射发动机上。另一种为安全烟火点火器,它能保证只有当导弹达到规定速度,并飞离射手足够远时,飞行发动机才会点火。整个推进系统于1988年通过鉴定。研制过程中共生产了300多发,并成功地进行了静态点火、动态点火、飞行试验、抗弯刚度、爆破压力、机械环境、热环境及老化试验。其飞行发动机采用了特殊的缠绕技术,节省了重量,符合接口要求,工艺成本低。
The French European Propulsion Company (SEP) has been developing the MISTRAL super-close surface-to-air missile propulsion system since 1980. The propulsion system consists of a two-stage solid rocket engine: a solid rocket engine that launches the engine into a metal shell that accelerates the missile out of the launch tube and burns within a 1.7-meter launch tube. Its flying engine pushes missiles into the target. In order to meet the interface size, weight, total impulse and other technical requirements, the European promote the company for the selection of a composite engine shell flying. This type of housing incorporates second-generation winding technology to directly wrap Kevlar fibers and epoxy around a medicated rigid insulation tube without a core. In order to prevent damage to the shooter, also developed two kinds of mechanical firework device: one for the explosive separation device to prevent the ignition engine when the fire, the tail jet blowing on the launch engine. The other is a safety pyrotechnic igniter, which ensures that the flying engine ignites only when the missile reaches a specified speed and flies far enough away from the shooter. The entire propulsion system passed the appraisal in 1988. During the development process, a total of more than 300 products were produced and successfully carried out static ignition, dynamic ignition, flight test, flexural rigidity, burst pressure, mechanical environment, thermal environment and aging test.
