In the late seventies and early eighties of the last century, Chinese literary circles started some vigorous cultural phenomena: “Chinese scars literature” and “root-seeking literature.” This is a change after thinking of the Chinese culture after the Cultural Revolution, abandoning the method of creating life on a purely political level and of history, thinking about the psychological trauma in the Cultural Revolution and pray for a true emancipation of mind. All of these works are characterized by their own pursuit of national culture and national literature.
