1977年,第一个外国人、新西兰的专家路易·艾利专程来邛崃参观,对我做的陶艺作品又是拍照又是竖大拇指,说这是真正的艺术,总之是极为赞赏。后来,带他参观十方堂古邛窑遗址时,他看见遗址那满地的邛陶碎片,简直惊呆了!称这里遍地都是无价之宝。他回国以后,写了一本书叫《瓷国游记》,记叙了他在邛崃的见闻,在海外影响很大。——何平扬
