在良好的业绩背后,是港铁为满足业务需求制作的精良业务架构,以及与之相对应的IT架构。孙耀达服务的香港地铁有限公司(简称“港铁”)是一个庞大的商业帝国。它是送游客从赤(鱼巤)角机场前往中环市中心的机场快轨,也是联通香港四岛的快捷方便的地下/上铁路交通系统;它是刷遍香港商超、便利店,全球应用最广泛的智能卡付费系统——八达通卡,也是地铁周边密集的住宅、写字楼和11座客似云来的购物中心……甚至,在大屿山的景区售票和运营系统中也看见它的身影。自从2000年实现私有化后,港铁一直维持着骄人的经营业绩,成为全球唯一不依靠政府财政补贴的城市轨道交通系统运营商。2011年财报显示,港铁公司总收入334.23亿港元,增幅13.2%,净利润达104.68亿港元,同比增长22%。随着业务持续发展,港铁不断从铁路相关的周边业务中赚取收入,包括经营广告
Behind this good track record is the sophisticated business structure MTR Corporation has created to meet its business needs and the corresponding IT architecture. Sun Yaoda Services Hong Kong MTR Corporation Limited (“MTR ”) is a huge commercial empire. It is a fast and convenient underground / on-board rail system for tourists to travel from Chek Lap Kok Airport to Central City Circle and also to Unicom’s four islands in Hong Kong. It is designed to be used in Hong Kong’s supermarkets, convenience stores and global applications The most extensive smart card payment system, the Octopus Card, is also a densely populated residential area, metro office and 11 shopping malls in the suburbs of the MTR. Even its sight-seeing on the Lantau scenic ticketing and operating system is evident. Since its privatization in 2000, MTRC has maintained its impressive operating performance and has become the only urban rail transit system operator in the world that does not rely on government subsidies. 2011 earnings report shows that MTRCL’s total revenue of 33.423 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 13.2%, net profit of 10.468 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 22%.
