美国摄影师安塞尔·亚当斯无疑是风光摄影的巨匠,对中国风光摄影的影响可谓广泛。很多风光摄影师都希望能一睹亚当斯镜头下美国西部风光的真实面貌,王建军就这样做了。他在拍摄中国西部20多年后,近两年又开始了美国西部风光摄影的探索,并以此来印证中美摄影技术及文化理念上的差异。在华夏五千年文明与美国两百年建国史的不同国度、不同民族背景下,中国西部与美国西部在王建军作品中呈现出大不相同的面貌与风情。王建军镜头下的美国西部,处处是大自然的鬼斧神工,而细辨他的中国西部作品,则更多地反映着一种天人合一的精神境界,这是一种对自然的崇敬和对人文的感知,这也透露出他对中国西部这片热血大地的深深眷恋之情。这,便是不同环境、历史背景下关于认知的差别。而正是这种碰撞与交流,使王建军深受启发,并拓展了他的摄影理念。
American photographer Ansel Adams is undoubtedly the master of landscape photography, the impact of Chinese landscape photography can be described as extensive. Many landscape photographers are hoping to see the true beauty of the western United States under Adams’ camera. Wang Jianjun did just that. After more than 20 years of shooting in western China, he started the exploration of western landscape photography in the past two years in order to prove the differences in the photographic and cultural concepts between China and the United States. Under the background of five thousand years of Chinese civilization and the founding of the People’s Republic of China for two hundred years in different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds, western China and western United States present vastly different appearances and customs in Wang Jianjun’s works. Wang Jianjun under the lens of the western United States, everywhere is the gods of nature, and fine His works of Western China, more reflects a spiritual realm of man and nature, which is a kind of respect for nature and the humanities This also reveals his deep love for this passionate land in western China. This is the difference between cognition in different environments and historical contexts. And it is this collision and exchange that inspired Wang Jianjun and expanded his photographic philosophy.
