为了探索肉桂酸(cinnamic acid,CA)对黄瓜和黑籽南瓜根系边缘细胞(root border cell,RBC)生理特性的影响,以其幼苗为试材,研究了0、0.125和0.250 mmol·L-1 CA对两者RBC的数量、活率、黏胶层厚度、凋亡率以及幼苗根系活力的影响。结果表明:CA胁迫降低了黄瓜和黑籽南瓜RBC数、活率和根系活力,这种抑制效果在黄瓜上比在黑籽南瓜上更加明显;CA胁迫增加了两者RBC的黏胶层厚度和凋亡率,黑籽南瓜黏胶层厚度的增加量较黄瓜明显,RBC凋亡率的增加程度低于黄瓜。0.125mmol·L-1 CA对黄瓜和黑籽南瓜RBC的影响趋势与0.250 mmol·L-1 CA一致,其影响程度低于后者。RBC附着根尖时,0.250 mmol·L-1 CA处理的黄瓜的根系活力明显降低,为对照的83.3%,而黑籽南瓜则无显著变化。去除RBC后,0.250 mmol·L-1 CA明显降低了黄瓜和黑籽南瓜的根系活力,且黄瓜的根系活力显著低于黑籽南瓜。RBC能增强植物抵御CA胁迫的能力;黑籽南瓜RBC因具有凋亡率低及较厚的黏胶层等特性,在抵御CA胁迫的能力方面强于黄瓜。
In order to explore the effects of cinnamic acid (CA) on the physiological characteristics of root border cells (RBC) in cucumber and black-seed pumpkin, the effects of cinnamic acid (CA) CA on the number of RBCs, viability, adhesive layer thickness, apoptosis rate and seedling root activity. The results showed that: CA stress reduced cucumber and black seed pumpkin RBC number, viability and root activity, the inhibitory effect is more obvious in the cucumber than the black seed pumpkin; CA stress increased RBC adhesive layer thickness and The apoptotic rate of cucumber seedlings was higher than that of cucumber seedlings. The increase of apoptosis rate of RBC was lower than that of cucumber. The effect of 0.125 mmol·L-1 CA on RBC of cucumber and black-seed pumpkin was consistent with that of 0.250 mmol·L-1 CA, and its effect was lower than the latter. When RBC was attached to the apical root, the root activity of cucumber treated with 0.250 mmol·L-1 CA significantly decreased to 83.3% of the control, while the black-seed pumpkin had no significant change. After RBC removal, 0.250 mmol·L-1 CA significantly reduced root activity of cucumber and black-seed pumpkin, and root activity of cucumber was significantly lower than that of black-seed pumpkin. RBC can enhance the plant’s ability to resist CA stress. The black-seed pumpkin RBC is stronger than cucumber in its ability to resist CA stress because of its low apoptotic rate and thick adhesive layer.
