我局接管工作,在二月間已告一段落,三月初、各部門的業務,已正式開展,按照預定計劃積極推動,除工作進度,業已分旬呈報外,今再將三四月份的工作,綜合報告如次:一、衛生工作:(一)修建下水道,共已完成三千八百一十一公尺,即四公里弱,超過預定進度百分之二十五,其中石溝爲一一五九公尺,水泥管溝一○八六公尺。至修溝地區,包括本市筷子街、過街樓、陝西街、民族路、姚家巷、金沙崗、打鐵街、曹家巷、節約街、臨江門拱橋洞、若瑟堂巷、民生路、中華路、勝利大廈前、中二路、中四路、飛來寺、飛來寺公路、兩路口小學、中一路、羅家灣、牛角沱、特園路、曙樓內等處。(二)修建公厠:四月底以前,共完成市府內及華一村公厠三座,牛角沱、棗子嵐埡兩處公厠,均以完成蓋瓦工作,較場口、神仙洞、黃家埡口三處公厠,不在三四月份修建計劃內,亦已提前將其脚糞完成。(三)製造水泥管:兩個月共計完成混凝土溝管一千六百零八根,又混凝土窨井四十怏。(四)開採石料:於王園及遺愛祠兩處設廠開採,共開石料一千五百立公方,以供不應求,復於猪石壩開採石料約四百立公方。
