文章主要通过城市与法国王权关系的变化来探讨城市与近代早期西欧民族国家的建构。在法国民族国家建构的过程中,这种博弈关系经历了两个阶段:12-14世纪中叶,城市与王权联盟,王权加强,开始进行政治整合;15-18世纪,王权无法容忍城市的离心倾向,城市被迫渐渐融入王权,逐步形成一套严密的中央控制地方的体制,即中央集权体制。此时,王权的政治整合功能达到最大化。
The article mainly discusses the construction of city and early modern Western European nation through the change of relationship between the city and the French royal power.
