1958年6月9日,中共中央就周恩来提出“继续担任国务院总理是否适当”等问题专门召开政治局常委扩大会议。会上讨论了周恩来等人的工作安排,与会者一致认为:周恩来“应该继续担任现任的工作,没有必要加以改变”。
On June 9, 1958, the CPC Central Committee specially convened an enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau on issues such as Zhou Enlai’s proposal that “it is appropriate to continue serving as the premier of the State Council.” Zhou Enlai and others discussed the work arrangements, the participants agreed that: Zhou Enlai “should continue as the incumbent, there is no need to change ”.
