著作权是“一套”权利而不是单一权利,这些权利影响着美术家创作作品的每一个方面——它的出版、发行、复制和展览,美术家在把自己的作品原件卖掉以后,他仍然享有该作品的著作权,这些知识,对许多美术家来说,可能都是生疏的。《中华人民共和国著作权法》就要在1991年6月1日正式施行了。可是,许多美术家却还不大了解这部法律,什么是著作权,谁可以取得著作权,怎样保护自己的著作权。本刊从这一期起,开辟“美术家著作权保护问答”专栏，回答有关问题。欢迎广大美术工作者对这个栏目提出意见，或把自己对著作权的疑问或碰到的实际安全告诉我们，我们将请有关专家、学者解答。
