《字林》,晋吕忱所作,是魏晋南北朝时期一部重要的字书,《字林》问世后,经魏晋南北朝至唐而极盛,在唐时几于《说文》齐名,被视为当时语言文字的典范,是研究东汉至隋唐时期辞书发展,特别是魏晋时期语言文字发展的重要著作。文章梳理了其流传与亡佚的情况,并就其在文献整理、辞书史、文字学等方面所具有的价值做简单论述。
The word forest, made by Jin Lvchen, is an important word book in the period of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. After the appearance of the “word forest”, it flourished in the Wei, Jin, Northern and Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, Was regarded as a model of the language at that time and was an important book for studying the development of dictionaries from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, especially the development of language in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. The article combs the situation of its spread and lost, and briefly discusses its value in the aspects of literature collation, lexicographical history and philology.
