比喻是通过相似的事物来比拟思想对象的一种修辞格,从认知的角度来说,人们运用比喻辞格是为了通过某一领域的经验来认知另一领域的经验,认知语言学的映射理论能够有力地解释这一过程。本文试图以被称为“比喻宝典”的《围城》为例,从认知的角度来讨论比喻的映射机制,并分析其动因。
Metaphor is a rhetorical device that compares objects of thought through similar things.
