湖北省恩施土家族苗族自治州位于湖北省的西南部,紧靠长江三峡,横跨武陵山脉,与湘渝黔省市相连,是全国最年轻的少数民族自治州。首府思施市,依五峰山而建,沿清江河而立,是鄂西的政治、经济、文化中心,自古以来为“楚蜀咽喉”之地,是湖北省首批历史文化名城之一。
Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province is located in the southwestern part of Hubei Province, close to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, across the Wuling Mountains, and is connected with the provinces and cities of Hunan Province. It is the youngest minority autonomous prefecture in the country. The city of Sishi, capital of the country, is built along the Wufeng Mountain and stands along the Qingjiang River. It is the political, economic, and cultural center of Western Hubei. It has been the site of the Chulu throat since ancient times and is one of the first historical and cultural cities in Hubei Province.
