In order to reduce the noise when starting and braking EMUs, in order to improve the service life of some main components and improve the working conditions of the traction motor, a series of traction elastic gears for automatic adjustment of subway vehicles were designed and manufactured. The elastic gear is composed of a ring gear 1, a gear center 2 press-fitted on the extension part of the wheel center hub and two side plates 3 fixedly connected with the gear center by bolts 4 as shown in the figure.
