利用鄂西赤铁矿尾矿为主要原料制备免烧免蒸砖,对赤铁矿尾矿渣与建筑标准砂的用量进行配比试验,并考察成型水分、成型压力和外加剂用量对制品抗压强度的影响。试验结果表明,在尾矿渣掺量为78%、标准砂10%、水泥10%和石膏2%的配合比下,且成型水分15%、成型压力20 MPa和外加剂三乙醇胺0.01%的最佳条件下,制备的免烧免蒸砖制品抗压强度达到15.9 MPa,可满足JC/T 422—2007《非烧结垃圾尾矿砖》建筑材料强度要求,提高了鄂西赤铁矿尾矿渣的综合利用程度。
