Some hospitals in the United States are trying to solve the shortage of pharmacists through various means. A survey conducted by the American Hospital Association in 1988 showed that although pharmacists are among the most difficult candidates for recruitment and retention among hospital employees, reforms appear to be able to alleviate the crisis. So the hospital took countermeasures: First, competition
