Second Language Vocabulary Acquisition (IVA) is a way of learning vocabulary, which occurs mainly in reading and is a byproduct of reading. This article attempts to explore the causes and influencing factors of IVA by integrating the foreign research findings incidental to L2 vocabulary acquisition.
