作为新闻专业主义理念的“承载物”和操作范例,普利策新闻奖20世纪90年代以来受到国内学界和业界的瞩目。本文以一个新闻诠释虚拟社群为研究对象,以“凝视”理论为视角,探析普利策新闻奖在国内的网络话语论述与作为象征资源的话语实践。本文发现,普利策新闻奖常被用作业务技能学习资源、精神激励资源、行业预测资源和本土反思性资源,其话语实践对于新闻专业共同体具有主体阈限的作用,形成一个理想与现实的张力空间,并建构新闻人对理想新闻业的想象与象征认同。
As the “carrier” and the operation paradigm of news professionalism, the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism has drawn the attention of domestic academia and industry since the 90s of last century. This article takes a news interpretation virtual community as the research object and the perspective of “gaze ” theory to analyze the Pulitzer News Prize in the domestic network discourse and the discourse practice as symbolic resources. This paper finds that the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism is often used as a resource for business skills learning, psychostimulation, industry forecasting, and indigenous reflective resources. Its discourse practice plays a principal role in the news professional community to form an idealistic and realistic Tension space, and construct the news people’s imagination and symbolic identification of the ideal journalism.
