在4月9日的中通电动客车下线庆典仪式结束后,记者坐着中通的混合动力客车从中通客车厂回到了住所。可以想像,这些中通的混合动力客车也许很快会形成车队,行驶于聊城,甚至是济南等地的大街小巷了。然而,这并不是中通客车控股股份有限公司董事长王庆福的最终目标。在庆典仪式上,王庆福提出了替代燃料客车的远景设想:2008年服务北京奥运公交,形成500辆产销规模;2009年推出零排放的燃料电池公交车,2010年替代燃料客车进驻上海世博会,达到2000辆销量和16亿元的销售收入。这是一个庞大的产业链,也是一个梦想。

However, this is not the ultimate goal of Wang Qingfu, chairman of Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. At the celebration ceremony, Wang Qiufu proposed the vision of alternative fuel buses: serving the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 and forming 500 production and sales scales; in 2009, it launched a zero-emission fuel-cell bus and the alternative fuel buses entered the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, reaching 2,000 Vehicle sales and 1.6 billion in sales revenue. This is a huge industrial chain, but also a dream.
