Preface The current “HY-35 agricultural X-ray machine” popularized in the seed sector provides an effective test method for the quality inspection of crop seeds. After testing the seeds of many kinds of crops, we really feel that the instrument has practical value in observing hidden insect pests and diseases, fullness, anatomical structure, morphological characteristics and test vitality of seeds. However, in practice, it was also found that the filming process and the darkroom operation were more complicated due to the characteristics of the film-type photosensitive material originally designated for use, which affected the clarity and caused difficulties in interpretation. In addition, the price was relatively expensive,
