A coherent integrator with no shunts in the unknown Doppler shift is proposed, which is much simpler than the normal shunt scheme. Therefore, it is superior to any other accumulation schemes that have been proposed in terms of finding weak signals from noise. In this paper, the principle of this accumulator is analyzed, and how to use the accumulation filter composed of this accumulator to obtain the best signal-to-noise ratio for high-frequency burst signals is given. The concept of ambiguity function is used to illustrate this kind of accumulative filter The essence of the device indicates that it is superior to the burst matched filter and has a greater possibility of realization. Finally, the key point of the design of radar station and the selection and consideration of some working parameters are also discussed.
