我们从中选出《我的意图》(My Intention)、《此情可待成追忆》(Remembrance of a Certain Love)、《片言只语论作为自然之代表的女人》(A Short Digression on Woman as a Representative of Nature)、《迁徒》(Migrations)、《我与他们》(I and They)和《亨利·米勒》(Henry Miller)等六篇,组成一个随笔小辑,呈献给读者朋友。
Stray means misery, danger, unpredictable. But on the other hand, it means maximum freedom, especially spiritual freedom. Perhaps it is thanks to that turbulent life, Milosh learned early on with a solemn eye to explore the meaning of life and the nature of the world. This made his work an extraordinary profoundness. The sense of crisis and deep feelings unique to the Polish nation appear to be particularly evident to him. Reading Milos, we will feel he is a very rational writer, longer than thinking, but also dare to think. After Milos was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, our country has translated some of his poems and few essays. Somehow, the translation of his translation is always inadequate, not comprehensive enough. Most Chinese readers think that Milosz is only a good poet. He did not even know he was a profound essayist. Therefore, we feel it necessary to translate some of his essay works. Vision from, San Francisco Bay, is an essay published in 1969 about nearly two decades after Milosz lived in the United States and collected 32 essays. In his essays or exploring life, or analyzing American society, or comparing the differences between European and American civilizations, or commenting on some important European and American writers or expressing opinions on some sensitive issues, Milos reveals his sensitive, profound and Bo knowledgeable, but also demonstrated his unique, extremely strong way of thinking. We selected “My Intention,” “Remembrance of a Certain Love,” "A Short Digression on Woman as a Representative of Nature, Migrations, I and They, and Henry Miller, to compose a small essay for your readers.
