对立统一，是唯物辩证法的实质和核心，宇宙间最普遍的客观规律。毛泽东和邓小平在中国革命的伟大实践中都科学地运用唯物辩证法，但他们在运用唯物辩证法方面又表现出某种差异，毛泽东善于从对立中把握统一，邓小平则善于从统一中把握对立。
Opposition and reunification are the essence and core of materialist dialectics and the most common objective law in the universe. Both Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping used materialist dialectics scientifically in the great practice of the Chinese revolution, but they showed some differences in using materialist dialectics. Mao Zedong was good at grasping unity from opposition and Deng Xiaoping was good at grasping opposition from reunification.
