有人间天堂美誉的苏州市,是长江三角洲台资企业密集区,现有台资企业4400余家,占江苏省台资企业总数三分之一强,累计利用台资230多亿美元,占江苏省三分之二强,吸引台资企业可形象地概括为“日批三家、日进千万美元”。近年来,到苏州投资的台商成倍递增,合同台资屡创新高。1999年,苏州市吸引台资突破10亿美元。2003年上半年,苏州市新批台资企业444余家,合同利用台资21亿美元,分别占苏州市吸引外资企业数和合同外资额的三分之一。
Suzhou City, with the reputation of human paradise, is a densely populated area of Taiwan-funded enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta. The existing number of Taiwan-funded enterprises is over 4,400, accounting for more than one-third of the total number of Taiwan-funded enterprises in Jiangsu Province. The accumulated use of Taiwan has reached over 23 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for Two-thirds of Jiangsu Province, to attract Taiwanese-funded enterprises can be vividly summarized as “daily batch of three, Japan into the millions of dollars ”. In recent years, the number of Taiwanese businessmen investing in Suzhou has increased exponentially, with Taiwan’s contractual capital reaching record highs. In 1999, Suzhou attracted more than one billion U.S. dollars in Taiwan. In the first half of 2003, Suzhou newly approved more than 444 Taiwan-funded enterprises with a contractual capital of 2.1 billion Taiwan dollars, accounting for one-third of the total number of foreign-funded enterprises and contracted foreign investments in Suzhou respectively.
