本文收集了44封西安两所综合性大学的学生写给任课老师的邮件,逐一分析了邮件称呼、请求的直接程度以及内部和外部修饰语的分布与使用情况,讨论了学术邮件中语用策略和礼貌程度的特点。研究发现样本学术邮件中普遍能够使用礼貌的起始语,最常用的模式为“问候语+头衔”;学生喜好使用直接请求策略与以“请”为标记语的词汇缓解表达来缓和请求的强加感,对外部限制语的使用也十分普遍。
