Erythropoietin (EPO) is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by the kidneys and is a hematopoietic regulator. The extraction of EPO from human urine is undoubtedly a powerful promotion for the study of erythropoiesis in China, and also has important value in the differential diagnosis of some erythroid hematopoietic diseases. In the study of human urine erythropoietin extraction process, the determination of its biological activity is essential.
