Quantifiers are used both in Chinese and Japanese. Quantifiers in Japanese are mostly from Chinese. Due to the differences in cultural background and social environment, there are many differences between the two. The past researches mainly focus on semantics and usage, and research on the form, position and color of quantifiers in the sentence is rare. In this paper, the corpus of Peking University and Shaunakin Corpus of Japan are used as the corpus source. The differences between Chinese and Japanese quantifiers in linguistic status, classification, morphology, location and color are systematically studied. It is found that the use of quantifiers in Chinese and Japanese forms and colors Although there are similarities, there are big differences in the three aspects of language status, classification method and sentence position. This article further analyzes the enlightenment of this result to learners and teachers in both Chinese and Japanese so as to help them.
