机械部电工局和煤炭部技术发展司于1983年12月21—24日在四川中梁山煤矿共同主持鉴定了机械部湘潭电机厂研制的两种电机车—XK8—6/140—KBT与XK8—9/132—KBT8吨防爆特殊型蓄电池式井下矿用电机车。前者为晶闸管斩波控制方式,后者为电阻式控制方式。 XK8—6/140—KBT电机车在四川南桐煤矿井下经6个月和10万吨公里的运行;XK8—9/132—KBT电机车在四川中梁山煤矿井下运行6个月,完成20万吨公里的运输任务。工业性试验证明这两种电机车运转正常、性能良好,受到使用与维修人员的好评。淄博蓄电池厂研制配套的DG—440—KT车用铅酸蓄电池及连接导线的焊接质量,也通过6个月的工业试验,完全符合《煤矿蓄电池式电机车用防爆特
