我当兵时所在的部队驻扎在福建泉州。或许是距离台湾比较近的缘故,我一入伍就开始挖战备坑道。那时正值国家困难时期,再加上管理问题,我们的伙食不太好。由于我在挖坑道中不怕苦和累,另外我也会打算盘,两个月后,连长把我抽了出来,让我当上士,也就是食堂管理员,负责买菜和食堂账目管理。当上管理员后,我就想办法增加蔬菜品种,给大家改善伙食。
