OBJECTIVE: To understand the prevalence and digestive system symptoms of gastrointestinal tract stress response of officers and soldiers stationed in the high altitude plateau, and to investigate the regularity and characteristics of the acute plateau response in the digestive system after the body has rapidly entered the plateau. Methods: A total of 1 137 soldiers and soldiers stationed at different altitudes (3 300, 4 000, 4 300 and 4 700 m) were randomly selected from the plain for a certain period of time. The questionnaires were used to investigate the gastrointestinal stress response. Results: The incidence of digestive system symptoms within 3 days of entering the plateaus at different altitudes were: anorexia (54.7%), nausea (31.1%), abdominal distension (25.1%), diarrhea (23.3%) and constipation The typical symptoms of plateau digestive system are mainly anorexia, nausea, bloating, diarrhea, constipation and so on. With the prolongation of resident time, most of the symptoms of digestive system gradually decrease. Conclusion: The incidence of gastrointestinal stress is higher in the plains individuals. The typical symptoms of the digestive system mainly include anorexia, nausea, bloating, diarrhea and constipation.
