本文介绍了一台由工频驱动并采用气体绝缘变压器的对称Cockcroft-Walton型800kV/30mA高压电子加速器的研制和调试。气体绝缘变压器和倍加回路均置于SF6压力钢筒内,相对于一般采用的油变,简化了馈电,缩减了整个设备的体积;采用工频供电,无需专门的前级驱动电源;电子枪供电通过专设的一组隔离变压器实现。经调试和改进,该加速器空载电压可达860kV以上,700kV下已完成大于30mA的稳定出束,能量转换效率可达90%。该加速器有望成为1 MV以下的辐照实用机型。
This article describes the development and commissioning of a symmetrical Cockcroft-Walton 800kV / 30mA high-voltage electron accelerator driven by power frequency and using a gas-insulated transformer.
