A double-deck highway and railway bridge across the Seto Inland Sea connects Japan’s two large islands, Honshu and the Four Nations. The project includes three suspension bridges, two cable-stayed bridges and a curved truss bridge, six miles in length, passing through several small islands in the Seto Sea. Workers are now busy finishing the $7.6 billion bridge. Hotel rises. On both sides of the scenic sea, people are busy preparing for the “Seto Inland Sea Bridge Exhibition.” The store stocked various souvenirs for sale at the bridge opening ceremony in April next year.
