碘仿的含量测定中国药典(1953)是採用银量法。测定的原理是将碘仿溶于乙醇中,加入定量的硝酸银液,经过冷凝廻流煮沸30分钟,使生成碘化银沉淀,再蒸除去乙醇。剩余的硝酸银液用硫代氰酸铵当量液四滴,其反应方程式如下: CHI_3+3 AgNO_3+H_2O→3 AgI+3 HNO_3+CO↑应用中国药典(以下简称药典)方法测定碘仿的含量是可以获得与共他国家药典一致的结果的(见表1)。但根据工作中的体会,我们认为药典现行方法有几点可以稍加改进和简化。 1.药典规定碘仿0.5g加乙醇50ml溶解。根据我们工作经验,由于碘仿在乙醇中溶解比较缓慢,通常0.5g碘仿溶于50ml乙醇中需要大约2小时左右

According to our work experience, due to the relatively slow dissolution of iodoform in ethanol, it usually takes about 2 hours for 0.5g of iodoform to dissolve in 50ml of ethanol
