由中国地质学会主办的“岩溶石山地区资源、环境与可持续发展研讨会”于1998年10月21日～25日在贵州省地质矿产局举行。会议由中国地质学会秘书长王弭力研究员主持,袁道先院士和卢耀如院士出席会议并作了重要发言。来自全国近30个单位的50余位从事岩溶石山工作的专家学者到会进行了学术交流(会前还印制了论文集),并于23～25日在罗甸县大关—油海及紫云县境内(即麻山地区)考察岩溶石山地质—生态环境和岩溶地下水情况,重点考察开发岩溶水,以满足缺水岩溶山区农民生活以及农田用水的前景和保护石山地区生态环境。
The “Seminar on Resources, Environment and Sustainable Development of Karst Shishan Region” hosted by China Geological Society was held in Guizhou Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources from October 21 to 25, 1998. The meeting was chaired by Wang Genli, the secretary-general of China Geological Society, academician Yuan Daoxian and academician Lu Yaotu attended the meeting and made important speeches. More than 50 experts and scholars working in karst rocky mountains from nearly 30 units across the country attended the symposium (a collection of essays was printed before the meeting), and at the mark of Luodian County from 23 to 25, In the area of Ziyun County (ie Maoshan area), the geological and ecological environment and karst groundwater of karst rocky mountains are investigated. Karst water is mainly investigated and developed to meet the peasants’ life and farmland water use prospects and to protect the ecological environment in the mountainous areas.
