四川古称天府、有秀、幽、险、雄四大特点。由于山水秀丽,云雾绚綵,雨量充沛,土地肥沃,宜茶地区比比皆是。根据《华阳国志·蜀志》记载:“周武王(公元前一○○年)举兵伐纣,巴蜀之茶已列为‘贡品’。”这说明四川是我国产茶的古老茶区。历代劳动茶农,先后发明各种茶叶的制造方法,而且还制造了不少珍贵名茶。如青城的“雪芽”“乌咀”,蒙顶的“黄芽”,“雾钟”,峨眉的“峨蕊”、“竹叶青”……。都具有独特的风格。早已驰名中外,脍炙人口。
