去年十一月,斯里兰卡宝塔厅剧团在北京演出了宗教歌舞剧《桑格坡国王》。《桑格坡国王》的音乐伴奏由五位演奏家担任,使用的乐器有小提琴、单簧管以及本国民族乐器塔姆曼达姆鼓、亚克鼓等。塔姆曼达姆鼓(TAMMATTAMA)是斯里兰卡一种特有的乐器,由大小两只鼓扎在一起组成(见图)。该鼓亦称高地鼓(高原地区民族使用的鼓),较大者蒙以牛皮,发音较低;较小者蒙以羊皮,发音较高。鼓身为木质,鼓边箍有藤圈,且用皮条往返系于上下
