INTRODUCTION This paper describes in detail a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) implemented with a high-speed digital signal processor (ADSP2100), analog-to-digital converter (AD7672) and associated analog circuitry and capable of processing 100 kHz bandwidth signals in real time Detailed design of digital spectrum analyzer. Analyzers using this technology have the following advantages: simple structure, low cost, low noise, low harmonic distortion, a dynamic range of signal greater than 72dB and easy to form a real-time digital signal processing system with personal computer.
