文章简要介绍了ＡＴＭ网络的虚通路概念和ＡＴＭ网络拥塞产生的原因，分析了现有拥塞控制方案的不足，并通过分析提出了基于虚通路（ＶＰ）改善ＡＴＭ的拥塞控制和新策略。
This paper briefly introduces the concept of virtual path in ATM network and the cause of congestion in ATM network, and analyzes the shortcomings of existing congestion control schemes. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes a new method to improve congestion control and new ATM based on virtual path (VP).
