Liquid lead-zinc has a very large area of mutual insolubility, and due to the difference between the larger proportion, easy to stratification. Many researchers measured the distribution of the third element between the two liquid metals. In this paper, we report the distribution of indium as the third element and the influence of some fourth elements on the partition coefficient. Experimental raw materials are: Pb: 99.99%, Cd: 99.9%, In: 99.72%, Zn is arsenic-free zinc, Cu is electrolytic copper. Place lead, zinc, and indium in a glass or quartz crucible with a quartz tube closed at one end and evacuated several times and filled with argon. Tube furnace heating, platinum and rhodium thermocouple temperature, temperature fluctuations ± 3 ℃. During the experiment every 15 minutes under sealed conditions
