风格是散文艺术生命力的重要体现,能否在译文中尽可能地再现原文的风格是散文翻译成败的关键。本文从翻译美学的角度比较了朱自清先生的散文名篇《背影》和张培基先生的英译文,通过典型的实例分析,从风格的两个层次,即形式标记和非形式标记探讨原文的表象审美要素和非表象审美要素是如何得以再现,从而实现原文和译文艺术世界的统一。
Style is an important manifestation of the vitality of prose art. Whether it can reproduce the style of the original text as much as possible in a translation is the key to the success or failure of prose translation.
