所谓拼缀法(blending)就是对原有的两个词进行剪裁。取舍其中的首部和尾部,然后联成一个词。如botel(汽艇游客旅馆)由boat和hotel拼缀而成(取boat的首部bo,接hotel的尾部tel构成hotel)。借用拼缀法所创造的新词叫做拼缀词。随着科技的进步和人类的发展,现代英语中的拼缀词日见增多。本文拟从形态结构方面来分析一下英语的拼缀法构词。一、取第一个词的首部接第二个词的尾部
